くらしの器の創造

 建築は、人が生活する上で必要な基礎の「衣?食?住」の「住」に該当します。そのため、建築は、人が暮らすのに必要不可欠であり、暮らしに関わるさまざまな視野を、広く、深く持つことが大切です。建築は人が中心であり、相手を思う気持ちを形にします。この基盤は、卒業後社会に出ても通ずる大事なことです。
 建築学系では、サステナブル（持続可能な）社会を目指して、人を中心としたスケールと価値観を大切にした居住環境、建築の計画や設計を学びます。安心?安全でそれぞれの人の立場に立った人を思う気持ちをもって、環境にやさしい技術の習得と快適で素敵な居住環境の創造、開発する力を身につけます。

Creation of Container of Lifestyle

Architecture corresponds to "shelter" of the three basic needs of the human being i.e. food, clothing and shelter. Hence, architecture is indispensable for the lives of the people, the discipline has to possess wide perspective and deep understanding of life. Architecture is human-centered and actualizes human consideration for the others. Such fundamental knowledge is important, long after graduating from student life and become a member of the society.
In the architecture course, our goal is to instill in students the sense of mission to create a sustainable society. We accomplish this by teaching wide range of knowledge, including the residential environment, methodology of architectural planning and design focusing on human-centered scale and values. Our students will have the ability to propose and develop technologies and spaces from the standpoint of the stakeholders and the society in general. With the understanding about safety and security of the users, the students equip themselves with skills and knowledge about the environmental-friendly technologies, and the ways to create comfortable and beautiful residential environments.
